Have a tiny bit of another western!au for 3810
I’m not sure if I should warn for this or not, but there is one instance of a historically accurate term in here that is by no means anywhere near the worst but I agonised over using it nonetheless so: one count of shit that used to be somewhat pc but isn’t any more.
The Hounds are a group that ain’t to be trifled with, even if they is mostly women. They used to be called Mace’s Hounds (or something of the like), back when they were mostly men and the only girl they had—well. Some woulda called her their mascot if she weren’t their namesake. But that were years ago, before Mace up and disappeared hisself helpin’ out ol’ lawman of Kaitei (you might know it as ‘Breezy Sea’ even though there ain’t no sea this side of the Rockies, but who said names were ever sensical?), before his Hound came back alone with a little pixie of an asian girl and the lawman carrying a coloured girl. Now, the others protested mightily this change in leadership, and no few had to be put down by the lawman and the Hound, but in the end they split almost peaceful like, most off to wind up pinched and strung up within the year.
In a year, the Hound has her sketch up in every law office in the state. In five, it’s every office down to mexico, with one of eight faces by her side. So the Hound ended up being smarter than the master. Fancy that.
